The biggest, the best, and the most impressive! These are terms we’ve gotten used to when it comes to describing new projects and businesses around Saudi. Here are 7 that have gained international recognition and even landed Saudi a Guinness World Record title.

1. Largest Burger Restaurant in the world

I’m Hungry in Jeddah broke a Guinness World Records title for the largest burger restaurant in the world with an area of 2,860 m² – equivalent to 11 tennis courts!

2. Largest mirrored building in the world

Of course we’re talking about the Maraya concert hall. The shimmering square has earned them a Guinness World Records title for the largest mirrored building in the world, measuring 9,740 Square Meters.

3. Largest serving of Sayyadieh in the world

Weighing at a whopping 1334 kg, this massive fish and rice dish was cooked up by Hussain Abdullatif Sallam in Jeddah.

4. Largest fruit sculpture in the world

An impressive 1,800 kgs of dates were used to construct a sculpture of a palm tree! Did we mention that the dates were painted gold for an extra wow factor?

5. Longest straight road in the world

Built originally as a private road for King Fahd (SAU), the stretch of Highway 10 connecting Highway 75 in the Haradh area to Highway 95 in the west of Saudi Arabia is 240 km long!

6. Largest fireworks display in multiple cities

Consisting of 962,168 fireworks lighting up the skies of Dammam, Riyadh, and Jeddah.

7. Largest Royal Family in the world!

With over 4,000 princes and 30,000 royal relatives!
