The 26 to 30-kilometer-long causeway will feature three traffic lanes in each direction and an 11.3-meter-wide two-track railway, making it a true multi-modal corridor. The highway will drastically cut travel time across the strait to just 30 minutes. This journey currently takes hours by ferry or detour routes.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>    <p>Even more exciting? The railway is designed to accommodate high-speed trains. Trains could zoom across the causeway at speeds of up to 250 km\/h, and hit 350 km\/h on either side of the structure. This could mean fast passenger service, smoother trade logistics, and a major boost for tourism between the two nations.<\/p>    <div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>    <p>With the plans finalized, all eyes are now on the next step: execution. Once completed, this link will reshape how Egypt and Saudi Arabia connect.
