Riyadh Metro & Buses: Operating Hours for Ramadan

Here’s everything you need to know about Riyadh Metro hours during Ramadan so you can plan your outings, iftars, and late-night gatherings without stress.

The Riyadh Metro is extending its operating hours throughout the holy month to accommodate the city’s vibrant Ramadan lifestyle, from early morning commutes to post-Taraweeh outings and suhoor plans.

Riyadh Metro Ramadan Timings

Sunday to Thursday:
8:00 AM – 2:30 AM

Friday:
11:00 AM – 3:00 AM

Saturday:
11:00 AM – 2:30 AM

That means you can comfortably head out for iftar, evening prayers, or even a late-night coffee run and still catch the metro home.

Public Transport Buses

The city’s public transport buses will also be running daily from:
6:30 AM – 3:00 AM

With both the metro and buses operating until the early hours of the morning, getting around Riyadh during Ramadan is easier than ever. Whether you’re commuting to work, visiting family, heading to the mosque, or exploring Ramadan events across the city, public transportation has you covered.

If you’re planning your Ramadan schedule, make sure to save these timings, especially for those late nights that turn into suhoor mornings!
