These are the daredevils. You’ll find them on the diving board (or at the deep end), perfecting flips, twists, and cannonballs. They live for the applause or the giant splash they create.
They might be kids… or adults who never outgrew their inner child. Whether intentional or not, they’re guaranteed to soak you.
They’re not here for the water, they’re here for the sun. You’ll find them stretched out on a lounge chair, shades on, headphones in, and SPF… hopefully applied. They might dip in once, but only to cool off before going back to their golden glow mission.
These parents are multitasking pros, teaching their little ones to kick, blow bubbles, and float. It’s part patience, part cheerleading, and a whole lot of “good job, sweetie!” moments.
You know the type. Goggles on, cap tight, swimming perfect laps as if they’re training for the Olympics. You might feel inspired… or slightly intimidated.
They can swim… kind of. But you’ll never see them leave the safety of the edges. One hand always grips the wall like their life depends on it.
They know everyone, and if they don’t, they will by the end of the day. Expect them to strike up conversations mid-swim.
They spend more time at the poolside café than in the water. Burgers, fries, ice cream, they’ve sampled the whole menu before you’ve finished your first swim.
They’re “just tossing a ball,” but somehow it smacks you in the head every single time. No apology, just another throw.
Their swimming time is limited to what looks good on Instagram. Expect multiple takes and pool float props.
